While lying in bed trying to fall asleep last night, I decided to do this. My list isn't necessarily based on quality, I'm more basing it on personal significance. I'll try to explain each one as I go along.

My doggie
Blah. My doggie, whom I adopted from the SPCA 14 years ago when she was 10 months old, has been slowing down and coughing occasionally. I suspected heart trouble and took her to the vet today. Although (happily) her heart is fine, she may or may not have some sort of tumor/inflamation in her intestines. I say may or may not because at this ( Read more... ) -
I am not a lush
Really, I'm not. I went out on Friday night after my second job at a local bookstore and had TWO beers in 3 hours. Two IPA-type beers, nothing fancy, nothing Belgian, nothing with an out-of-the-ordinary alcohol content. What happened? I spent all day Saturday feeling like CRAP and sleeping. She has returned...
I'm back from Japan! The trip was fantastic and I got to see all my old haunts and many new ones. I went without expectations because I didn't want to be disappointed with all the changes since I was last there, but was actually pleasantly surprised by how many things had actually stayed the same. I've been a bit lame
Big apologies to all my new LJ friends. I've been so busy with my upcoming Japan trip that I haven't posted as much as I would like. Anywhoo, I hope you all are having excellent summers and I look forward to reading and hopefully posting more upon my return!
