The province of Quebec, and Quebec City in particular are wonderful places to visit that give you the feel of having gone to Europe but without the transatlantic plane fare. I'm also a fan of the White Mountains for a romantic getaway. We've stayed at The Bernerhof Inn and it was lovely!

There's so much!! Our driveway is paved (and come this weekend, I might even be able to drive on it!), the siding for the garage is sitting there ready to go up! soon we won't be quite so white trash with our Typar garage. I have a garden full of veggies! In particular the peas, the onions and the Swiss chard are doing very well. And best of all, I have the most wonderful man in my life to share all this with me!
Our annoying neighbor is moving out, so we'll be w/o annoyance upstairs AND downstairs for an indefinite amount of time. :) Hope to hear more from you in general! Good and bad, since they're all a part of life.
Oh, and an idea for a trip - road trips can be fun :) That's what Shea and I did for our honeymoon. We took a week off from work, drove out 3 days, drove back. We saw Niagra Falls, Rock City Gardens (TN) and lots of other fun, touristy stuff. We saved money by alternating one night in the truck, one night in a motel. It was a blast! If you're crazy enough for it, anyway ;)
Honeymoon: We hadn't thought of a road trip that could be an option. Hmmmm I'm interested in what people come up with as well.
The Good: I am hopelessly and madly in love with my husband and have had a truly amazing year with him. I have wonderful friends, a loving family, a good job, a GREAT sex life, and I'm feeling truly spoiled because I think I'm having steak for dinner tonight. None of that is in any order it just sounded better that way ;)
The cost of my monthly cholesterol medication increased from $15 to $50. So I requested a generic, and one office visit later, it's down to $10. Yippee!
