Ok, this week is going to be slightly different. narciscia is on holiday and my laptop unfortunately gave up the will to live and I lost everything so there will be a weeks delay on chapter 8. Oh, my, I am like a puddle of mush. You just totally threw me with this one. I went from feeling bad for Bill being the brunt of Laura's frustration to being one big sappy, emotional mess from the 'proposal!' I love that Lee still scribbles. That's too cute and makes it like he's their little boy. Laura frustrated is just so damn cute. This 'missing chapter' really helps to put things in focus and to get a grasp on this story and just how truly fantastic it is. I would quote my favorite parts of this but I'd really be repeating the whole post.

A wonderful and mushy change of pace from the other chapters and I too was reduced to a big puddle of mushy goo. How in-character you continue to keep Laura and Bill just amazes me...another wonderful addition.

GUH! I just wanna quote like half of this back at you!!! I freaking loved it (the shock, I know!) but I especially and specifically loved the recognition that Laura, sometimes, as much as we all love her...can be a fecker and take shit out on Bill cos she knows he'll let her away with it. And I loved that you captured that so perfectly.

This fic is awesomesauce for sure.

Fecker is a word I haven't heard in a long time! You wouldn't happen to be irish by any chance? I am sure I probably know the answer to that already, but I have memory like a sieve right now.

Anyway, THANKYOU! Glad you liked the one week detour. My laptop has been cursed and I am starting to forgive its epic fail now. Laura can be difficult at times and yes as much as we all love her, she has her faults too. Glad you liked that bit.

LOL I'm happy for the (hopefully temporary) cursing on your laptop, cos this was pitch perfect.

Loved the difficult!Laura bit, I think she gets seen through rose coloured glasses an awful lot but its her faults that make her that bit more awesome.
