I am hearing so much talk everywhere about religious wars recently and pagans vs. christians or Muslims vs. christians and I feel the need to clarify where my stand point is . I was curious if you just underwent some kind of spiritual revelation or if you were just trying to manipulate your parents by choosing the same beleif as them.

I am also curious about What Amythist has asked here. I have seen where you can take on qualities of the people you are around. You can be very easily influenced. I know you best of all and this is something that I have seen alot with you. I want to be sure that you are following your own path and not the path of our parents or of someone you are around alot. Being your own person is very important. I will not judge you, but take into consideration who you are doing this for. Are you trying to impress someone, agree with someone, avoid conflict or is this truly how you want to live your life? Ask yourself that question and think about it for a while before you answer. This above all-to thyne own self be true.

I have many friends who are of many different paths:christian, pagan, satanist, gay,etc.I do still sometimes do readings and I know it is wrong in my path but....at the same time I am not perfect. As Amythist asks no I am not following my parents I do things my dad wouldn't and definitely am comfortable in groups he wouldn't be but at same time unlike mom I believe in Hell and know why Jesus is my savior but to each there own cause spiritually where I am is really different and changing I understand skeptisism like maclimeszero(did I spell your handle right) cause most christians are very judgemental which is what i am trying to get away from. Now I don't know how much I will continue with readings and such but when I do do them (which is seldom) I now pray beforehand for help and guidance from above I guess I am an enlightened Christian . As for the Christian you are going to hell viiew. I cannot tell someone that is their fate if they don't believe in the existance of Hell maybe I am one originally screwed up individual but I feel ( ... )
