You rock. I just read ur lj info and u did winterguard??? did u do colorguard in marching band also??? I did and it rocked ass!!!

LOL thanks!
I switched off between marching band and colorguard throughout high school.
Freshman and JR year, I marched with my trumpet.
Sohpmore and SR year, I marched with the guard(I was captain my senior year).
I did winterguard for three years in high school, I was on the original team(Our team was the first and is still the only winteruard team in town).
I'm uber sad that I can't do guard anymore, cause the only guard is my old high school guard, and I graduated :-(

Do drumline. I'm going to do that hopefully next summer if I save up enough money or do it at a university.

We don't have a drumline in Chico.
Chico State(I live in Chico BTW), doesn't even have a MARCHING band, hence no guard.
It makes me sad :-(

I saw your post in engaged2married just now and I was going to post, but apparently it got deleted.

I wanted to recommend that you check out youngweddings. You will most likely receive a better reception than you did at E2M.

E2M is a biased community who attacks anyone they think is too young. They JUDGE and are hypocrites to the info of the community.
They should be ashamed of theirselves.

*hugs* I understand your frustration. I'm not as young as you, and I was 22 when I got married, but I can feel your pain. Some people in E2M are very stuck in the mindset that you have to be a certain age to get married and do certain things at certain times. Very regulated for love, right?!

Anyhoo, YW was created by my friend for the purpose of providing a safe haven for younger couples who have experienced age discrimination and harassment. It's been around for a while and has a good amount of members, 99% of who are accepting and courteous.

Good luck hun, and don't let others ruin your life and your happiness.
