Okay, y'all. I know it's been a long time since I've updated, but things have been so hectic since my move to Denver. So much going on, so little time. I feel like the past four months have just flown by. Everything is going pretty well, though. I can't complain too much, at any rate. Thank you so much, Ms. Shape in Boots! How many cousins, you ask? We just went to our family reunion on my mother's father's side, and there were 150 people there. That was a small turnout. Usually there are 200 to 300. We have a very extended family, to say the least. But my first cousins, the ones I'm close to, there are about 15, 20 of us.

Makes you want to just eat him up, right? Well, that's nothing new there, is it? Like I said, we're such geeks that we actually sang Happy Birthday to a man who was thousands of miles away in California that day. Can you say losers?

Thank you so very much for your good thoughts. I don't know if I'd call my cake decorating skills extraordinary ... maybe just ordinary. LOL. But thank you anyway. And I can only say that I'm sure that the cake, even though quite delectable, was only a small fraction as tasty as the REAL thing might be. Damn, even nasty, sweaty!Gale would be okay with me!
