i left the house this morning at 6am in the morning, way before sunrise. it was nice to be able to make it to work in 15min, unlike the customary 30~40min. :) the hour sucked but the traffic was terrific. now i'm at work watching my wafer run and nursing my arms at the same time. the arms are not so happy this morning ( Read more... )

wow, galoshes, you have to wake up so early! i don't think i could do it - it's so cold and dark nowadays. cold as in snow everywhere outside and you're freezing...

i'm coming home this friday! will be back til 27th. we should meet up! looking forward.

hey! i had to go to work early too. :) got an 8am call ... some big bug causing machines to go down. bug was being manifested in our features, and the CEO was already debugging it. unfortunately, i can't claim a happy commute... 85 was so jammed that i could see the backed up cars from stevens creek, so i took 280 -> san antonio, and it still took me 30 min to get to work! :P thank GOD the bug was not in our code.

OMG, 8am is early. especially since i know how late you guys stay up. you know, it's so weird to think of a CEO actuall doing work. ok. that didn't come out right but you know what i mean. :)

yeah. 85N is hideous in the morning! alan and i commute sometimes so it's a little better but NOT MUCH.

if i'd known, i would've gone to bed earlier... i'm totally going to bed early tonight! :) today was such a weird day. after the morning stress, we had a long lunch down at joy luck place (for dim sum), then basically everyone left early to "get ready" for the holiday party. yeah, our ceo is smart. it's kind of an anomaly... haha. he fixed the bug, and then went off to a board meeting. crazy.

85N is *so* bad. every single exit between 101 to stevens creek is backed up on 85 in the morning. luckily there's no traffic by the time i *usually* haul my lazy butt to work... except for the 85N-101N on-ramp, anyway. even though it's ultimately going to be good, it's a disaster right now!
