I talked to Curmudgeon about the impending tariffs and gave him my opinion that if he wants to get a new car, we should probably do it soon. Put simplistically, tariffs raise prices on exports, but even if we got a domestic car, domestic manufacturers would see rising foreign car prices as an opportunity to raise their prices.
