I've been thinking about my 2016 goals off and on for a month now. It's been difficult, because I'm very happy with where I'm at right now. If I can just have a repeat of 2015, then everything is awesome. But I want some goals to move towards. Here's what I've settled on in the last few days:

One of my Christmas presents was Growing Fruit Trees: Novel Concepts and Practices for Successful Care and Management, edited by Jean-Marie Lespinasse and Evelyne Leterme. Yesterday we had rain, high winds, ice, and snow, so I got to stay home and supposedly 'work from home'. I did actually do some work. I analyzed the Canadian spend as much as I could given the limited files available to me. It was lovely to sit in my comfy chair and work while the bread was rising and the laundry tumbling. I have this lovely three-day work week where my boss and my co-worker are both out the whole time. I'm here all alone, with not a single fucking meeting set up for the whole time. OMG, I have like 20 hours all to myself!!

I can do whatever I want! Or nothing at all!! Hahaha! I love it.

I'm a little shaken up from rolling last night at Brazilian jujitsu - emotionally, that is. Physically I'm fine (or at least as fine as is normal - I'm still recovering from a hyperextended toe, pinkie finger, and got my elbows tweaked a little hard last night).
