I don't know who won the debate, but I definitely know who lost: The Dow Jones. Seriously people, how low can that thing go??

Seriously government intervention when the Free Market is down in the dumps? What kind of true free market is that? I want to see wall st. raining with stockbrokers. I want to see top corporations fail due to incompetence. What kind of bullshit is this?

What does that even MEAN?! All the definitions I've looked up under that acronym don't apply to this conversation.

Then what's the point of trying to invest anything in the market right now ( ... )

I meant to take out the 'Then' in that first sentence. I didn't mean to start it in an argumentative tone.

I wouldn't know about the 401k bit. As far as that goes, I'm willing to stick it out with Chase or if worst comes to worst, the Bank of Jon Butera's Mattress. I'm more concerned about getting my inheritance my grandfather left me outta there and into a CD before there's none left to save for a house.

Those people should die in a fire. Along with those people from...damn, I forgot their name, it was so long ago...it rhymed with 'shmenron'. But that's when it all started, or at least when people started noticing.

I'm also annoyed with lending companies that were giving money away to families who were either more than down on hard times or were just so flat broke they needed the money to pay for other things besides their huge-ass mortgage payment, plus the fat interest rate. Hell, I'm annoyed with families who can't put it past themselves to live with what means they have, God forbid the fact that it's oh-so meager to them. If people were able to do it back then, we sure as hell can do it now while finding a way to get past this.

Finally, I'm fed-up with people who won't allow us to say that we're at least in a recession, but then go off spouting off 'OMFG look out, this is the Great Depression Ver. 2 heading our way!'
