Power of Suggestion

I mention the 80s Cartoon Jem (Complete with saying, "It's showtime Synergy!") and immediately Jan wants to play Final Fantasy X-2 again, an rpg in which the main character's primary powers are changing clothes. I'm amused.

There's nothing wrong with X-2.

...except for the fact that I got bored and never beat it.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with X-2. I was amused by the Jem tangent.

You never saw Jem did you?

No, no I haven't.

Most people rag on X-2, so it's force of habit now!

Changing clothes into what?? Or some sort of early crossplay-esque kids TV weirdness??

XD

Not that we Brits can talk... I used to avidly watch Ludwig when I were a wee nipper...

The main character in the first ep gets earings that projects a hologram around her that makes her look like a rock star. That's her power.

I remember that show! I liked it back in the day.

However, the comparison suddenly makes me less avid about adding that particular FF to my collection....

Oh! On a different FF note, my little group of con-goers are doing the FFVII thing - I'm gonna be Hojo! (the short fat female version, lol)

Been tempted to do Red Mage before, but never got around to putting together the cosplay. That and I would have to wear a wig.
