The things I pick up
Sometimes my grandmother comes out in the oddest little phrases that I say. Usually, it is the "slower than molasses in January" saying that I picked up from her, but occasionally one of her other unusual idioms pops out of my mouth. In this case, I described our winters as "colder than a welldigger's toes."

Parental woes

The knife
I'm going to have my ears surgically pointed today. Hopefully this will save on time on the make-up job required for costuming, as well as, in the long term, money spent on spirit gum, ear tips, and makeup. Oh hai!
I won't be posting here quite as often for at least a little while as my motherboard decided to fry on me. Of course, I realize that I haven't exactly been the most prolific of posters recently. I'd say I'm sorry about that, but I didn't exactly want to burden the list with fluff and drama.
On the other hand, HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!
