Doctors have told me that bananas are good for grumpy stomachs, as are plain crackers, ginger tea/ flat ginger ale, rice and plain black tea with sugar. I always like to sip warm broth and have unbuttered toast with it, too.

I'm glad you're feeling better.

Ewww broth!!!! Bleah!

My first reaction was to go for the bananas but my Nana told me no, and since she's old I figure she knows more than me. I bet your doctor knows a little more though.

miso soup is nice.

and no inside-out-summers, unless you become inside-out boy
from nickelodeon; do you remember? he flipped over the swing
bar

and then! his inside were his outsides and vice vice versa
& he saved the world.

THAT would be cool.

Thank you for that mental image... well, not really.

My patent recipe for an upset stomach would be zwieback (aka: rusk) and tea (about any sort I guess, though I prefer green in any case).

I don't know if I could handle all that caffeine at this point! I wasn't very good with caffeine to begin with, and on a tender stomach...

Zwieback is something I hadn't heard though. Thanks!

Aloe vera juice works well to soothe and coat my ulcerated stomach lining but when I need the big guns I use Phenergan. It is only available by prescription but it is available in pills and suppositories. Always nice to have some on the shelf...
