I think I am going to purchase the book Beginning Ubuntu Linux: From Novice to Professional. This is based on the fact that I have taken a real liking to Ubuntu Linux. More so then I did when I first used Mandrake.

While reading some L.U.G. Google Group, I came across an Ubuntu post, specifically about gcc compiling and such for development. Now it was only one person who posted the comments as he figured out his mistake, which lead to my discovery of how to finally get Apollon to install properly. I am so fucking pissed off right now...

Well I am liking it very much as of right now. Though I am disappointed with one thing. I can't connect to OpenFT, Gnutella, and FastTrak. Well I could probably get connected to FastTrak, I just don't want to LimeWire. Each of the possible programs I have tried all won't work all for the same reason. I have recently installed Kubuntu onto my laptop. I was surprised at how easily it managed to install itself. I was quite pleased. The only thing that I think went wrong was that it either didn't give me the option of setting the passwd for SU or I skipped it some how ( Read more... )
