We have an injured baby rabbit living in our basement. One of the cats caught it and didn't quite kill it, only left it at the front door half-dead. My dad found it when he went out to work on the garden and it was cold, so he thought it was dead. So he picked it up and once it warmed up a little it started kicking and squirming.
