I'll be home briefly from 17-22 June. I would like to see or at least touch base with people, however most of this time will be devoted to helping mom get out of her classroom and home Pennsic prep and I will have little vehicular access.

Presently it looks like I can do the 18th or the 21st; possibly the 19th, depending on Father's day plans. The 22nd I am helping to band fledgeling ospreys. Will also be at pennsic. (current plan=arriving week 1 Wed, staying until the end or we die of the sick, whichever comes first.)

I'd even be up for helping pack classrooms or prep pennsics if necessary, so long as I can do it without driving in stupid traffic.

I know that I'm doing the classroom thing on the 20th. The 19th I'm doing Manassas Wine and Jazz with my parents. And, sadly, most of the pennsic prep at home is waterproofing my tent (and making sure it's as big as I think it is), figuring out my fabric, and engineering and making a short platform for an air mattress (also procuring said air mattress and possibly additional fabric).
So, with that, I just have to talk to mom and see when she needs me for moving stuff. But the 18th is potentially looking like the best day for stuff.

My plan for pennsic is to get there week 1 Tuesday with Chris coming in the following Saturday. I think at the very least it would be good to meet up there and actually create plans for that, but that doesn't need doing immediately.

ooh, Rory & I'll be there during that time frame!

BTW, I assume you'll be using tent spray to waterproof the tent?

Probably? For the tent stuff. At the very least I need to put it up and seal the seams, but as it's a dome tent, that should take all of an afternoon or morning.
