I'll be home briefly from 17-22 June. I would like to see or at least touch base with people, however most of this time will be devoted to helping mom get out of her classroom and home Pennsic prep and I will have little vehicular access.

On 31 July 2010 at 1 PM CAT I married Chris.

I will post a full run down as soon as I get through all of the little things I need to do (like deal with a database for thank you notes), probably within the next few days.

I have an office. Tomorrow, I will move stuff into it and start working in it. I also have a lab. And it's awesome.

I've got my ticket to Amsterdam purchased. I'm going to do research whether they fund me or not!

So, this was a pretty cool conference. I was one of three people from Nebraska who went, and of them, the only student. I networked well, got handed a thesis topic (for which every paper I now write on this topic will include an acknowledgement to this professor), and just generally had a really good time. I bought a new piece of technology. When it gets here in December, I will tell you more about it.

Also, Yiayia's has tasty pizza and good beer (Unibroue!). Come to Lincoln, we'll party.

It's good to know that Anthro students seem to be the same the world over when we get together and bitch and drink.

Also, Harvest Moon has very little taste.
