Do it outside!

I know just what you mean about the grey. I go back and forth about about coloring mine. If I could do it and keep it healthy and keep up with the roots, I'd color it. I'd rather have grey healthy hair than brown straw-like hair, though.

I looked at pictures from right after I shaved mine, and I've been awfully tempted to do it again too. But NO! I'm letting it grow.

D'Wanna is always doing something to her hair, isn't she? I don't know if I'd have that energy. :P When I can fit in a salon chair again, I'll pay to have the roots done, if I decide to color it. Professionals, are great with getting the roots just right. Me? I always make the whole mess darker every time I do the roots. It's just hard to work on yourself.

I've loved your hair in every stage I've seen it. I'm sure you'll always be gorgeous no matter the length of your hair. When it was purple and spikey, it was the coolest! :o) And it did make you look like you were about 22. ;o) You have no wrinkles!

I found the one picture of you that I have with the purple hair. I cut it down to a livejournal size, so you can use it, if you want to. I love it. It's so cool. I'll send it right over to you.

Thanks. : ) You're so nice to me.

I'd love to have the purple hair picture. I think that whole look was good for me, but I'm not sure I could pull it off on a daily basis. I have the stuff I used to make it pink, but I think it's a little long at the moment.

Yes, yes, that's the good part, right? It does grow back. I wonder if I should buy some make up. I just found some blush I used to wear. I bleached my hair out to platinum blonde (kind of like D'Wanna's) when I was in cosmetology school TWENTY years ago. I loved it. It was super short and I was sassy! I think I forgot about that until this moment. Maybe I should die my hair red as in red, not coppery like normal hair.... actually make it red, or blue, or purple. Again, when I was in cosmetology, I colored it Plum. I used Matrix and it didn't fade. I don't have my license anymore. I bet I wouldn't be able to buy Matrix now. Hmmm...

I was darker back in 1998 because I spent a lot of time in the sun. I'd say my complexion is light rosy now... not sure. (What do you think, Pam?)

I don't think you're all that fair. Yeah, probably light rosy. You're darker than I am, I think. When I shaved mine a couple of months ago, I definitely wanted to wear makeup at first, partly to look more girly and partly because I felt pretty exposed.

D'Wanna is really fair, and she looks good with platinum.

I'm all about hair weirdness when the mood strikes you. If you hate it, wear a hat for a while - it grows back!

Go for it, I say!

You ARE a radical, aren't you! I'm so glad! hehehehe...

Yeah, I really ought to do this. I'm exercising all the time and my hair is always goofy because of it. I jump on my mini tramp for 5 minutes or get on my recumbent bike for 15 minutes... not long enough to be dripping wet, but enough to get warm and a little moist... enough to make my hair look bad.

I don't think you'll regret it. It definitely makes a statement. Right now I feel I have suburban hair. Maybe if I made it purple...
