I am thinking of having my hair undercut but leaving my pony tail. I have asked my HR department if this is going to cause any problems because the only way to fix it will be to cut the rest of hair off and I do not want to lose the length of my hair.  I hope they say its ok because I really feel like a change.  It does bug me a little that I have ( Read more... )

I'm fine sweetie. :) I do like that haircut but I also have to agree with Anita in that it is a royal pain to grow out - then again, most people I know with undercuts don't ever want to grow them out because they are so cool in the summer, especially with hair as thick as yours.

I am, as always, opinionated. *grin*

Your hair is lovely at the moment. Especially when it's not tied back. Whilst an undercut might suit you, maintaining it is going to be a pain in th arse - have you ever tried shaving the back of your head? Growing it out is also going to be a pain in the arse - I recall a mate of mine at school growing hers out and it just looked awful for ages and took a good couple of years for the length to even itself back out again. think very carefully before you do it.

Your so lovely I hope you have a great time in spain.

I have a feeling that work is going to say no anyway. I just fancy a change at the moment but still want to keep the length. I had it under cut for about a year 5 years ago, when I used to mohawk it when I went out but my hair was only about 5inches long and I could not ponytail it.

But I understand it would take about 18 months to grow it out but I think it will suit me.

"Not to put a downer on things but not appropriate for work in the role you undertake."

Hmm I have often wondered how a hair cut effects your ability to do your job, but it not worth the hassle to fight it I guess. I think he is just jealous as he shaves his head to hide his receeding hairline.
