How is it that the Guide's information can be so casual about the God that controls this place? [Yes, Atem is wandering the new planet because ... well, aside from that whole God thing it seems rather normal. And mishaps with crazy vengeful Gods? Can't count him out on that. I've been looking for my friends ever since I first arrived. [It's a simple answer so he doesn't see a reason to lie or try to cover anything up. Most everyone else was too so it didn't make him special.]

One was here for a couple of weeks into my arrival and then promptly disappeared. Some of them were on the Sif. [But with the captains saying they'd never see that ship again, it's kind of a fun ordeal.]

It seems a majority of them were. [Which made him feel like he got stuck with the raw end of the deal- ah...his expression stiffens just slightly.] Most of them were from around the same time. [Completely different people as far as he's concerned. Still his friends but... really had no idea who he was. It stung even worse.]

[An even deeper pause than the first and when he speaks his voice is very, very quiet and almost carries a sense of being lost. If the babblefish can detect accents somehow, when he says these names they're most definitely lilted differently than all the others had been.]
