Bonjour. It's been a little while since I played Pillowtalk. I'm glad to see I haven't gotten rusty yet!

Ah, but the reason I played for you all wasn't to show off (even though the song is quite ( Read more... )

[Seeing as she was one of the ones playing~
She smiles, wondering if he might possibly recognize her, seeing as when last they met she was a cat.]

That is a rather gentle song to be awoken to, Monsieur. Quite lovely.

[Waka remembers Miss Irene, and their interesting date. He smiles.]

Merci, mademoiselle. It's been quite some time since we've spoken, qui? It's good to see that the cat hasn't gotten your tongue yet. Ha ha ha! [Always subtle, Waka.]

Très drôle. I have indeed - it would be a tragic loss, considering my profession.

As a performer myself, I'd have to agree. Would you mind having this prophet as an audience one day?

Certainly, I would be pleased to have you. So long as in exchange, I get to hear your flute once again.

Merci, mademoiselle. Of course. Or, how about a duet? That would be something to hear.

That certainly would be. I am quite partial to the idea. Do you have a composition in mind?

[He taps his flute on his chin, thinking.] Not right now. I have some songs written down, but I don't exactly organize. I like to play on improvisation, so I'll have to do a bit of searching for my compositions.

What about you, mon ami? Any favorite songs to sing?

[After a contemplative hum she strikes a few notes on the piano.]

There are many I enjoy to sing. I believe I could consider Ridente la Calma a favourite.

Ridente la Calma, eh? [A thoughtful pause.] You'll have to play it for me. I'm not too familiar with songs outside of Nippon, mon ami.

It would be a pleasure to play it for you. Come here with your flute and we shall consider it an exchange.

Sounds fantastique, baby. Name the time and place and I'll be there. It'll probably have to be after this Halloween holiday that is coming up.

[She gives him a sharp look at 'baby'- she doesn't care much for that nickname. But she smooths her expressions to amiability again.]

Early November will be quite agreeable then. I look forward to it.

[Sorry, Irene. Force of habit for the half-baked prophet.]

Magnifique, mademoiselle. As do I. I haven't had a duet with someone for a long while, maybe a couple of centuries.
