I had an awesome visit to Colorado. Colorado is so amazing because of all the mountains near the major cities. Boulder is great because its small, reminded me of Madison, but in the background you see these awesome beautiful mountains, that are close enough to bike to. Boulder is also a great city for biking.

ridiculousness

so much needs to be done in the next couple of months.  a bit overwhelmed right now, but hopefully i can be as self-disciplined and concentrated as I can usually be, especially since it is work that i really want to be doing. 

Now that i am a "master" in eastern european studies, i figured i should develop a better understanding of my country, so have been reading a lot of literature on the dark side of american history, expanisionsim, imperialism, politics, capitalism, chicago school ecomonics, etc.

Today I have been transferring our old home videos from Beta to DVD.  I have been watching parts of it, and I watched myself turn 2 and 3 years old.  So cute.  Also, I knew more Ukrainian at age 2 than I do now.  One video showed my aunt asking me to point to different body parts as she said them in Ukrainian and I knew elbow in Ukrainian then, and ( Read more... )

So the weekend before last I went to Sandwich, New Hampshire with my sister to visit some of her friends. It is a really cute village, and we came during a snow storm, so there was tons of fresh snow await for us to play in. We went skitching and cross-country skiing.
