Au revoir Taipei
Yesterday was movie no. 2. How did you enjoy Movie 2 I hear you ask...well, the start was fun - though I did have to ask a couple sitting next to me (a Chinese woman and possibly a bit older Australian man) to shut the fuck up please stop talking when the movie had started. I mean, really, does the guy have to ask the girl whether ( Read more... )

Sydney has been on my list of places to visit forever. I'm hoping it will happen one day.

That photo is just gorgeous!

It is a lovely place for a holiday. In the sun, the harbour sparkles :-)
The photo is gorgeous - I should add that it's not one I took myself...

lovely pic. It's pretty what they did there. All those colors.

Ah don't you hate it when people talk all the time even when te movie has started? I often say to my hubby:" IF they want to talk, why did they come to see a movie? They should've gone out for a drink somewhere."
I also hate teenagers who are loud and noisy and can't stop talking or giggling. We happen to end up with a bunch like that in almost every movie we go to see. Very annoying.

Oh yes, I didn't actually take the photo myself (i should add to my post). I do hate it when people talk thru movies. Sometimes I just put up with it, cos you dont know whether the people will yell back at you. But to do it at a Film Festival - particularly rude. I was ready to say that (about why did you come see a movie...) if they talked back at me. I know what you mean about the teenagers - and because I like fantasy films, that's particularly the case cos they tend to be at those movies too. Sometimes I get lucky if I go during the day. Now we have 'allocated seating' at some cinemas, it's even worse, because you aren't supposed to move seats.

Ahhh Ellie sleeping during the movie. You sound like me now. I've done that a couple of times in the cinema. Sometimes the movie can't keep you captivated for longer. Well at least that couple stopped talking. I hate talking during movies as well.

Beautiful opera sails.

ooh the opera house looks so pretty all lit up like that :)) (it is a lovely building anyway but looks even more so like that).

I think you have our rain as we haven't had much so far this summer...

The Opera House looks cool with the lights.

Funny to see the weather in Sydney's almost the same as here - I don't think it stopped raining once all through May! Oh wait ... we had nice weather for the festival ... haha ...
