one more rant - Nurofen Plus
Our laws have just changed and now the painkiller nurofen plus is held behind the counter at the pharmacy. NP is the only painkiller I have discovered that completely eases period pain, and what I call ''ovulation pain' which comes 2 weeks later, and I find the most painful. Annual Leave saga - continued but now sorted
To follow up on the work rant, once my manager had said it was ok for me to take the time off, I booked my flight to Melbourne. Thats another working week over then.
This week I have worked out all of the ten films I am going to see in the Sydney Film Festival which started on Wednesday. I bought a ten ticket 'flexipass' which gives me a bit of a discount, however I've had to book all the films in advance. As an ex-librarian, I am a complete sucker for book sales with % off coupons. Therefore, this weekend I bought quite a few books at two Borders bookstores, including a couple of picture books for my niece and nephew's July birthdays, a couple of sci-fi/fantasy books, and the book "what would Buffy do: the vampire slayer as spiritual guide", heh.
