I love living in the woods in the fall. The scene out our side window is a forest full of golden and orange leaves that, when the sun hits them just right, seem to be burning in one giant, untamed bonfire. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Here I am again, stuck home on another Saturday night by myself. Mum's off getting tipsy at a wedding reception, Bill's with Mum, Shirley's up north visiting her son, Alicia's probably at a bar somewhere, the dogs are asleep... then there's me.
