This weekend is the Pittsburgh Regional. Yesterday, mpa and I finished our third and fourth of six planned sessions. We had a solid afternoon, just under 60%, and enough serendipitous gifts in the evening to bring us to 2nd in A for 11.81 gold. Quite the lump sum.

Last week, the time had come for me to buy a new hard drive. And, holy crap, Moore's Law is in full swing: I got 3/4 of a terabyte for sixteen cents a gig. I guess I haven't been paying attention to prices lately.

Today I went about an hour east of Pittsburgh, to Greensburg, for a bridge sectional. This was maybe the 7th and 8th sessions I've done with mpa since resuming quasi-regular bridge about 1.5 months ago, and we did well. The afternoon round was a 57.7% and the evening was 54.9%. Last weekend I went up to Toronto to hang out with kieriyn and check out Anime NorthHad a little bit of amusement crossing the border into Canada.
