Oh, Jades, the additions to the end make it so fantastic. !! EEEEE!!

I love seeing this story through Teyla's eyes and with her hyper-aware Wraith-sensing senses. I love that she and John have just that bit of psychic connection. I love the way she comes to recognize John as still her friend, the way she can sense his difference from the other Wraith on the Hive ship.

I am going to rec this on gate_house and at home, because this deserves attention!! :)

Thank you so much! I've never really written Teyla this closely before, so I'm thrilled that it worked. *big grin* Yay! Thank you!

Oh, this is really neat. Your Teyla voice is excellent, I wouldn't have thought you weren't well-practiced in writing from her POV. I can *hear* her thinking.

Also, this is a story that could never be done on screen, which I find really neat, how internal it is, how sensual, and I always like stories that are centered around smell or its relatives.

Very cool! (ETA, just occurred to me, the title is a clever play on the original and so appropriate for Teyla's pov in this story!)

Thank you! I'd read the story before, but reading it to remix was totally different and the thought just *hit* me. Teyla turned out to be a real joy to write - I must visit her more often :)

One of the joys of fanfic is being able to play with things that we could never see. Combined with my continuing telepathy-obsession, this was so much fun. I'm really glad it worked for someone who isn't in my head!

Hee. The title gave me all kinds of trouble, so I'm chuffed that worked. thank you!

I cannot, cannot wait to read this fic, but I've been teaching all day and my eyes are literally crossing. I'm sorry to leave you in suspense but thank you so much for choosing this story to remix. I can't tell you how much it means to me. <3

I will read as soon as I can see straight.

Okay, I went and had a cup of coffee and managed to finish my prep for tomorrow, and then came back to this because I could not wait.

Wow. What a fantastic re-telling. I can't even begin to tell you how much I admire this. You've used the threads of the original so cleverly, while creating a brilliant piece that's Teyla's story in its own right. The details -- the horoscopes, Teyla's senses, Ronon's concern. I love it. Thank you.

*beams* Thank you so much! As I said, I love the original, and was nervous about taking it on for the remix, but as soon as I hit on the idea of using Teyla, it just seemed to come together. All the details were there, and I had an absolute blast playing with them.

Thank you!
