Today was most awesome! I went with Jen to the farmers market first thing in the morning. Then I headed up the canyon with Zach and Julie to go and explore some new climbing areas. It has been a bit of time since my last post.

1. I had a son Grayson he is 14 months old now.
2. I now manage the bond desk at a reputable broker dealer.
3. I manage 15 bond traders.
4. Jen is back in school to get a masters of nursing. She will be done in a year.
5. We just started training to do a triathlon together.

#1 I have been promoted, I am now a bond trader which is a nice increase in pay and some additional responsibilities. I really enjoy looking at the bond market it is a great way to get information on the overall state of the economy and on the overall market. I also work with TONS of money most clients that talk to me have around 6 mill to work ( Read more... )

I passed my insurance portion of the CFP exam!! WOOT. I just have 5 more semesters then I will be done with CFP. Also I now can get tuition reimbursement from my job, everyone loves that. Too bad it is taxed like normal income booooo taxes ( Read more... )

market was so so until the end of the day today where there was a nice rally. Going to the dealership tomorrow to drop off the title for the ole Alero and talk to the finance manager there about the job offer we talked about a few days ago. Yes friends believe it or not I am back in school (again) I am going to class here in about 10 minutes. I am taking a class on taxes and estate planning it is very interesting. I took the FBI entrance exam this week, it was pretty rough but I think I did well. I just came back from visiting our new house and it is 90% framed all that is left is the roof. It is tons of fun seeing the house come together. Work has been crazy because of the market woes. Things are going well. Not much else to report.

just a fast note, I was reading the journal today and there was an article that read something like this... due to Bush spending there is a chance in the future that American bonds might be rated lower then AAA..... do you know what that will do to the market?
