This weekend I ventured to Orlando for some non-Gainesville fun. I really like this whole not-spending-a-weekend-in-Gainesville thing. It does wonders for my spirits. HAPPY NEW YEAR! This is probably the first year that my mom and I have stayed up the whole night -- no cat naps in between to catch up -- and watched the ball drop together.
