Nissa, the silly girl, has started telling me, "I don' sink so," when asked questions. And, "Fine. Whatever," when I tell her it's time to do something she doesn't want to do. She knows her alphabet, can recognize most letters and numbers, and can basically count to 20 (though not always in the correct order ( Read more... ) -
Going Offline
Hurray our stimulus check arrived just in time for moving. Huzzah!
Just a note to let you know we are taking the modem back to the cable company today, so I'll be offline until atleast the evening of the 2nd.

I can't believe that tonight is our girl's last night in this house! We're moving to Chaska on Tuesday, but the girls will be staying with Chris's mom starting tomorrow so that we can get the packing finished up, move and get settled in to the townhouse before picking the girls up again. I think Abbey and her cousin, Christian, are twins with different birthdays. Seriously. They were nearly identical at birth. He's two months younger, but cut his first tooth on the exact same day Abbey cut hers. Plus, he weighs more than she does! He's a little tank and Abbey's pretty lean yet. Abbey cut her first tooth earlier today! Actually, I think she cut her first two teeth. Bottom middle. It feels like there is two there, but her gums are swollen enough that I can't see them yet.

Finally, a great day! And I'm not talking weather, because that is rainy and chilly. But, today is payday for me, the first one since I've been off my doctor's hours restriction for my MS. My check is more than twice what I was used to seeing. So that is lovely! And then, the bestest thing to happen today?? We got our Federal Tax Return!!! ( Read more... )
