Welcome to the real world, where nothing is simple!

A light aircraft? How cool is that!

Seriously, it's your life. You don't have to tell your parents anything that you don't want to. This isn't one of those touchy-feely movies where mums and daughters are best buddies and tell each other their most intimate of intimates. You're an adult, it's your life, and you can do what you want with it.

Don't stress about Newcastle. You've got two great opportunities here. If you stay, you get the guy. If you go to Newcastle, you get to study medicine. And you might be able to convince the guy to fly out and visit you anyway!

Don't hold anything back.

Thanks for the advice!

I'm not looking for a touchy-feely moment, more wanting to not have to avoid the truth when my parents ask me where I'm going and who with.

Two great opportunities sucks. Better than none, but more confusing than 1. And I guess either way I win in some way. I wish I could get everything I want, but I guess that's where the real life thing comes in.

My method of life is to not worry about a problem until it arrives. Enjoy what you can before the stress levels ruin it all ;)

And a light plane? Heck yeah!

I'm starting to realise this method has definite advantages.
