It is frustrating having to sit and not be with my wife because an alleged rat has chewed through our drainage hose to the dishwasher for the 2nd time in as many weeks and I have to monitor the sink to make sure it doesn't overflow due to the slow draining garbage disposal.  ugh.  it's been such a long day.

oh man.  tomorrow.  it's daunting.  especially after two long but good outside work days for our first two planting days.  but i am going to do it.  yes i am.

wow, only 5 days until the big run.  i ran 8 on sunday, and it's usually not too bad, but i didn't bring water with me and pittsburgh was up in the mid 80s.  i had not run a long hot day in a long time and was parched.  i realize there are water stations all along the way, but even so ( Read more... )

Last week went well.  I was on schedule and length with my runs.  Except Sunday.  I was going for 12 miles.  I started up Brighton and should have continued to Davis but instead turned down Woods Run Rd which lengthened the run a bit, but no big deal, I wondered up the hill through Riverview Park.  Then I got on Perrysville on over to Ivory.  I ( Read more... )

I am looking forward to see Maggie and Jeff, as well as get back to Philly briefly- tomorrow and Friday.  A lot of meetings for work, but that's alright.  Then off to Brooklyn to see Anneke and Stephanie Faith and Michelle!  That will be really nice too.  A lot of driving, but well worth the trip.  Asher's first time in the big cities ( Read more... )
