Fic Drabble...

Hello, everybody!

I must confess that a few weeks ago I was about to give up on Neighbours: the whole way Paul was and is treating Izzy did not sit well with me, and the news of the whole Paul/Lyn thing actually made me feel physically sick. However, this has now changed because of two reasons, number 1 being Paul and Elle plotting together to get ( Read more... )

Hon, you REALLY have to stick it out: there is one scene that made me jump off the couch and squee. But seriously... I know the bit you're talking about: you guys are having a total dry spell ATM.

“Maybe a little while ago. But not anymore,” Dylan said. “He’s got you for that now.”

GO Dylan! :)

e remembered the time when Dylan would bounce around, his eyes lightning-bright, because Paul had indulged him for even a moment. Now there was a clear, burdened look to his shoulders. He wasn’t a kid anymore.

That was an amazing paragraph: seriously: you hit the nail on the head and you got Lyn's fear down at the end beautifully.

Also, I LOVE how you took such a liberty with canon, and still made it work. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou. I'd have never seen this, but it fits in so bloody well. :)

It was like finding a cool lush, hot oasis in the middle of a nasty, scary, Lyn-infested desert. :)

I bet Dylan would take Paul back, eventually. I NEED to believe that's true. But the Lyn/Paul thing is written so well by you that I can actually stomach it. And you've got to admit one thing... Paul is good with Oscar. (Now I want Paul to be like a father to Dylan's son... dammit, you've got my bunnies hopping. In fact, I've got one or two Neighbours slashfics I need to type up and post. Thanks for reminding me) Good job.

The worst thing was that since I was writing HER I had to actually think about Lyn for more than 0.5 seconds, which was hard because the hate was welling up.

I just calm myself because I know she'll get what's coming to her in the end. Well, she better anyway. I just want to see the smirk on Paul's face when he breaks her little heart. Hee! Man, I'm mean!
