So, I had my appointment this morning with the orthopedic doctor who will be doing my surgery tomorrow morning. I got to see a nifty 3-D version of my foot, which was cool.

Hmmm... in case he'd take out the screws at about end of May, and that's gonna be the time of JRR2, there'd be no problem to do it 2 or 3 weeks later, I guess. As long as you know early enough when it will be on, so there's still a chance, ne. The date should be released in good time before the event anywayz, ne?

I hope that JRR doesn't fall during May myself, because I already have so much planned, so I can understand where you're coming from. But to be in that much pain, and to have to go through all that? I'm so sorry. I hope things go better than your doctor expects, because it must be hell dealing with that much.

I know it's maddening but if you don't take good care of your foot, it won't heal...and that'd be worse. And think that after it is better, you could go to other concerts and do the things you used to do normally before this...
