I'm sorry I haven't been better at staying in touch. It's something that, despite all my best intentions, I suck at. I started this account purely to keep in touch, so expect regular harassment.

News: I went to visit my sister last weekend since my mom was there and I hadn't seen her since I left of Oz. I'm going to NJ next weekend for an all too brief visit. Among other highlights will be hanging out with Jess Friday night.

I'm putting off my move back to Ontario at least until the fall, so there's lots of more opportunities for me to come down and have a beer with you. Have no doubts that I will.

Don't be afraid of being self-indulgent, my friend. We, who love and admire you, are more than willing to help you bear your burdens. And that CANNOT be counter-productive. Anytime you need a friend you've got a ton. :)

I am sorry I have not been in touch for a bit. I understand what you are saying. Time to move on and forge a different kind of relationship with all of us.

Acacia is doing quite well. So much so that we hardly hear from her and her mom. People have been rallying around here doing all sorts of things to make their return as pleasant as possible (painting their house, installing new wood flooring, etc.) We are hoping they will be back home in April sometime.

I have been crazy busy with work but after this week things should go back to normal. I should bet back to writing and running. Bicycling still a month away or so.
