And by the way, A-MEN to the laying off of women. It pisses me off to hear the words slut and whore just tossed around whenever something a girl does pisses off a guy. It's an attempt to control women through their sexuality, which in light of the fact that there are no constraints on men's sex lives (risk of pregnancy, periodic bleeding which just plain prevents sex, public stigma, etc) whatsoever, is pretty reprehensible. Grrrrrr. Let me at 'em..

Yeah, but I do it too. I'm gonna stop, I've decided. And really, most of the time it doesn't bother me. But the obnoxious machismo was getting to me.

What I find odd is when I see/hear girls doing that to each other (refering to the calling 'slut', etc.) I mean, even if I find it offensive and degrading when guys say it, I can at least understand the whole hegemonic masculinity thing, but when girls do it? Just oddness.

I'm forming a hypothesis about how too much shiny makeup has an odd effect on the brain, I'm sure my studies will earn me lots of money some day. ;)

I mean, I'm totally guilty of it, too. But its been bothering me a lot. ANd Asimov is boss. Boss boss.

It's easy for guys to label women, because we just don't understand them at all, so we try our best to comprehend things by slapping unfair labels everywhere. Dyke, Douche, Fag, Slut, Whore, Bastard, etc.

Guys just don't as often think through repercussions of their actions. And I'll admit I'm guilty of this too, so I apologize for anything you might've taken personally from me.
