Project Gym started back up, and even in just the ORIENTATION session, I had more artistic release than an entire TWO MONTHS of the current show I'm in. That's very sad to me. My group threw together a piece in ten minutes, then performed it in five minutes, and that right there was so much more fulfilling than the entirety of Kafka on the Shore ( Read more... )

This Dragon Year brought me some wonderful new things. Even though the Tiger (my sign) and the Dragon (the year) are constantly in conflict, the friction actually served to spark me in the right direction. I'm actually quite good at dealing with embarrassment, especially when I'm the self-reflexive cause. If I cause my own, then I can deal with it. My god, my feet hurt. Two days of tech directly into a double of work. I'm overwhelmingly tired. Work was wonderfully simple. Work has been much better since I briefly spoke with the General Manager.
