uh... on the whole, i wouldn't say we do. i know one or two families with kids that like to dress up, have halloween parties, etc., but trick-or-treaters don't happen with any sort of frequency anywhere i've been.

NO!

As i have to explain to my Japanese Boss over and over again. I wish we did though, the dressing up would be neat

Not really. I mean, I went trick or treating when I was like, 9, and me and my friends just met with blank stares at most houses.

But its definately known of. Shops'll sell halloween themed treats, people might just dress up for the day for a laugh...

Overall, No. But we are aware of it. Some kids do but they really don't put much effort into it.

I went to the US during Halloween once. I was expecting it not to be a big deal (thought that the movies just exaggerated it) but I was suprised. it's such a hugeeeeeeee deal there. Just by looking in WALMART...a whole lane is dedicated to halloween.

Oh, it's definitely a huge deal here! Halloween is a giant celebration. We have entire stores that open up in September and October called Halloween USA, and they are just specifically all Halloween costumes and decorations. It's pretty cool, especially for kids. School's are always throwing Halloween parties and kids come in to school on Halloween dressed up.

It must have been quite a change coming over here and seeing the Halloween you see in movies and TV :D
