Pete, I respect your protecting of our craft, but imagine a day when The Pamphleteers got the recognition they so rightly deserve. Even more importantly, imagine The Cause getting the recognition. Had that movie been made, you and I would've been instant celebrities. We could've gone on the Merv Griffin show and spread our message to the masses.
Now, with no movie featuring a character based on the Pamphleteers, we simply continue to stagnate in our boots, spinning our wheels, beating a dead horse corpse.
With all the money in the world, we couldn't buy that kind of publicity. And with the youth of today's short attention spans, television is all about the ratings. There's no way Merv Griffin would put a couple of ambitious Pamphleteers on his show today.
