We spent about three days in Cape La Have - a place we visited last year and just loved. It's a beautiful bunch of islands, coves and a rather lovely beach. This year, the beach was still quite nice, but with a hurricane and a tropical storm having come through recently, there was a whole lot of flotsam and jetsam strewn about. We weathered Tropical Storm Danny in a beautiful place called, strangely enough, Louse Harbor.
There was a large community of grey seals there who were very curious, coming closer and closer to our boat to get a look.
It's funny how they just stare and if we wave at them, that keeps their attention even longer. Very sweet!

Hurricane Bill turned out to be no big deal - thank goodness.
We found a great little cove called Clark Cove nestled in beside Marble Mountain.
Yeah we dragged anchor at the height of the storm -
(and I got to have fun powering Raven into the wind, as J. reset the anchor - I am told my steering was "brilliant")
