Well, I'm sure this year would have been an utterly fantastic Christmas, had my grandfather not died at about 5am this morning. Just about the only positive thing to come out of this is that I've really realised how much I love the people close to me.

I was browsing the internets on Thursday evening, and randomly decided to see if there were any gigs happening in Norwich soon that would be worth my while attending. Because I've not been to a gig in a while and, quite frankly, I miss them. So, I click away to the Norwich Arts Centre website, and what do I see?

The good news: After a grand total of four rehearsals with my band, we have a gig on Sunday, and another one the following Sunday. To say I'm slightly nervous would be an understatement, but at least these two gigs are outdoor things, and not clubs where people are coming specifically to see a band.
