Almost two months to go until the wedding and we still haven't picked a honeymoon spot. It's one of those issues that Mike and I seem to kind of have radically different ideas about

If you go to Niagra, you might be able to avoid flying entirely if you took the train up. (It's all told, about the same amount of time spent in transit as with flying, when you factor in the quality of waking up early, waiting around airports, waiting for baggage, &c. Plus, you can get up and move freely, and get a nice view for most of the trip. Con is that it's a similar price to flying, and amtrak's website is horrible.)
Hmm, I'd never thought of taking a train before. Mike said he's been on one and really enjoyed it, so it's definitely a possibility we'll do that, if we ever go up around there.
Good luck for the decision. Hope, you'll figure it out soon. Here it's like the sooner you book something the cheaper it is - especially flights - but it sounds like where you are that doesn't matter and they always have a similiar price range. I really don't know...
I mean, personally I AM a beach person and could stay on the beach all day and do nothing. I hate sight seeing and really don't like running around getting history lessons and photographing all buildings and castles. That's just not me...
But I think to each it's own and I hope you'll find a compromise you can both live with.
Here, it does make a difference when you book a flight. usually it helps to book it early - though not too early. One place recently, I saw that the best time to buy tickets (for trips within the US) is around 6 weeks before your trip.
I hope you're able to come up with a solution you are both happy with asap. <3
For our honeymoon we went to Disney and it was wonderful.
I also love love love cruises. I can see why you don't want to do that for your honeymoon but I hope you'll give it a try sometime. I think you'd like it. It's easy to even forget you're on a boat in some ways. And it's really nice to be pampered and have all your meals provided. And there is lots of different options and things to do :)

I think I'll definitely try a cruise someday since Mike loves them so much.
Being pampered sounds really great. :)
