I'm glad you're having such a good time! I thought I'd be cheers-ing my travel as well but it turns out that I rather like staying where I am for work and traveling for fun. I think it's mostly the fact that I get 4-6 hours of sleep a night while on the job (looking at a solid 7-8 days of this next week) and that I just don't have fun like i thought I would. After this discovery, my mind is freaking out. I always knew a 9-5 job would suit me better than a film job but I was crossing my fingers that I could find a 9-5 type producing job. Now I'm not sure about anything anymore (producing, filmmaking, spending all this money and time in DC on grad school...).

I look forward to the day when I can set my own schedule. Time to start searching out new positions in film. Much as I'd love to be behind a camera, the lifestyle just isn't going to work for me. Producing is still an option, as you don't always have to travel if you have a director/shooter present (as was the case at World of Wonder last year...the producers worked 10-7 at their nice Hollywood office.
