Why parents shouldn't think they're young...

I hate it that my mother thinks she's still young. It means that any friend I bring over must be her friend too. I swear to God, she thinks she's 25 with the wisdom and knowledge of someone twice that age. It puts my friends in a peculiar situation when my mom and I are fighting. Who to side with

she should, but she doesn't. She's sort of new to this whole thing. I feel bad for her.

As it was, she was trying to help the situation, by telling me how my mom felt about the situation.

"She just can't express to you what she wants to say properly... You should try and understand that... Maybe you should try to work on your relationship with her..."

Yeah, like I haven't heard it all before. It's the same line of bull crap she tells to everyone who inquires.

And I have tried to fix the situation, but I can't do it by myself.
