Scar on such a pretty face.rspsamiamAugust 16 2005, 14:34:48 UTC
The stitches should keep the scarring to a minimum. Were you carrying the lamp? The fan looks fine and is acting way too innocent. Hope you feel better soon.

Aweee thank you. I was lifting the lamp UP to move it and I'm not used to being in (or decorating) the den. I didn't even know the fan was on. I had NO idea what hit me.
Thank you for the subject line ;) You are too kind!

I've hit stuff into the fan before. It really is totally shocking. And scary. There's more force than you expect.... especially if you're not expecting anything at all.
I lifted up the torchiere and it hit the ceiling fan. The head broke and sliced my face. :( It was so MESSY, I was so scared. I've never been to the hospital before!
Thanks, I had feared the WORST since I never saw anything more than LOTS AND LOTS of blood. The gash was HUGE but after sewn up, doesn't look like much at all. This little bandage does NOT do my pain justice.
I don't think they are sexy ON ME! Haha. I was so scared the boyfriend would hate a scar, but he seem's to think along your lines ;) Thank god for that.
Your mother cracks me up... she reminds me so much of your comments -- The innocent looking ceiling fan. -- She kills me!!

Put maderma (sp) on it to reduce the scaring.

Well, I'm sure it will heal up nicely. They have all those things available now that help prevent scarring.
And even if it does leave a little mark... lots of people think scars are SEXY.
Hope you feel better soon.
