Birthday update: not really sure how many people are going to be on the west side and available Friday. I'm trying to figure out a place that has decent pool tables, cause I haven't played in a while. Open to suggestions. I don't really want to drive into Seattle and go to a club, pretty much trying to keep it low-key.

So the Village Theatre in Issaquah needs a Master Carpenter . . . I wonder . . .

So I had an orientation for White River today. Turns out that the company who runs their stage crew also does other venues, like the Key, and the Tacoma Dome. So, I can just tell our scheduler that I want to hear about other venues, and that's that, I don't have to wait for something to roll around at one place. Well, the Board of Examiners for the stagehands' union, aka IATSE Local 15, will be reviewing my resume at their next business meeting. Not really sure when that is, but they're supposed to get back to me after it's done. Not sure why, but the whole procpect is a little bit scary.
