English-born Australian soprano Emma Matthews looks absolutely fantastic on the cover of her recent album In Monte Carlo. It is a recital of bel canto arias, which manages to avoid many of the clichés in the soprano repertoire and take full advantage of her light coloratura voice (capable of reaching a top F).

Anna Netrebko's new album, In The Still Of Night is deliciously lovely. It's a live recording of her recital at last August's Salzberg festival with Daniel Barenboim on piano.
