Market Bags

I'm a fool for market bags.

I've got this cotton yarn left over from knitting some hats for an uncle who was going thru chemo, and I've been very curious about the humble string bag. I'm just starting my 3rd market bag today. (Note to self: finish weaving in ends tonight so Bean can try out the first two at the farmer's market tomorrow.)

Helpful hint: Make the handles shorter than you think they should be. They stretch an incredible amount, and nothing is more annoying than a market bag with handles too long to avoid scraping the ground and too short to go over a shoulder.
