Our favorite, my Grandpa Tom, passed away at 8:35pm Thursday, September 8th.
The story of his final moment is beautiful.

The End is Near
Really difficult night. Lots of tears. We're headed into the 4th day in a row of the doctor telling us today is likely when he'll pass. His blood pressure was 50 over NOTHING for two days and today, after a final visit from his two remaining sisters, his blood pressure dropped to NOTHING over NOTHING. Dr. Hank
I finally got a chance to go through my mail that had piled up while on vacation this weekend. I got a letter informing me that my endometriosis specialist was closing his practice due to his poor health and to call if I wanted a copy of my medical records.
Today I called to get my medical records and learned that Dr. Hank actually passed away 04/22 ( Read more... ) -
Day One of Vacation
Vacation is awesome, mostly 'cause there are ZERO expectations.

Alexis
Kublacon is ramping and I've had Alexis on my mind lately. She and I worked very closely at Kublacon; she passed 02/14/11...just before Dundracon. Japji, David and I attended her service on the Saturday of Dundracon. Alexis was just 30 and left behind a 16 year old daughter. Her daughter sang the most beautiful song at the service. I'm getting really, really excited about Kublacon. There is a lot of chatter going on among staff, lots of planning, organizing and helping hands. While this con is work; it is work I am proud of. Epic Weekend
Saturday I got A BUTT LOAD of unpacking and organizing accomplished. Our single bathroom was completely unpacked and organized and big random box of "toiletries" no longer sits on the counter top all has been given a home and put away.
