I'm a fool for market bags.

I've got this cotton yarn left over from knitting some hats for an uncle who was going thru chemo, and I've been very curious about the humble string bag. I'm just starting my 3rd market bag today. (Note to self: finish weaving in ends tonight so Bean can try out the first two at the farmer's market tomorrow.)

I got this cookie mix at the regular grocery store (which means Andronico's, although it could have been the Bowl) a few weeks ago. Tonight I made it. I figured that at the very least, it wouldn't be horrible. I mean, Betty Crocker is a Brand, and they have test kitchens and stuff. Okay, here's how it works: Each season, they go to ?? about 8 cities for the initial auditions. About a zillion people in each place file past some poor assistant producers or whathaveyou and sing at them. David Allen, of Getting Things Done fame, suggests that any task that has more than 1 step is a "project". Therefore:

Project: Gardening

• cut back sunflower
• cut back salvia (there's more to do, but then, there always is)
• feed lemon tree(s) [ETA: Oops! Didn't do this, but it was still a good day.]

I'm starting a "shawlette" (aka "neckerchief only it's knitted") today. Using a heavier yarn than the recipe calls for, but also larger needles (which are giving me a looser gauge).
